First ever GE Hybrid inverter launched at SMART Energy Conference
The first hybrid inverter under the GE brand was launched on day one of the Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition in Sydney.
The one-of-a-kind inverter is compatible with high-voltage batteries (80-495V) and has a power capacity ranging from 5-10 kW. As Glen Morris, General Manager of SolarQuip, mentions, "The new GE hybrid inverter is bursting with industry-leading features: integrated AC and DC isolators, four MPPTs, easy mounting, and 10kW of output in backup, and a whopping 15kW of solar panels can be connected."
The inverter includes an AC bypass switch, is equipped with rapid battery charge, and can power large loads in backup mode with UPS level switching less than 10ms. These advanced features demonstrate that GE-branded inverters are industry-leading and developed with the growing demands of the Australian market.
GE Solar Inverter's goal is to contribute to Australia's renewable energy transition and be a major technological innovator in the ever-growing Australian solar industry.
The hybrid inverter is now available to purchase from GE Solar Inverter's nominated partners, One Stop Warehouse and MMEM Greentech. Qualified installers may apply for the Platinum Retailer Program, a dedicated program for premium installers of GE products in Australia.
